People often ask me what made me chose massage therapy as a career. I struggle to pinpoint the exact moment when I made the decision but the reason remains the same. People.
Massage therapy allows me to work directly with a person and how they feel in an attempt to improve their quality of life. I believe that how a person feels physically can have an effect on how they feel emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
I began my massage journey in September of 2001 when I started to attend S.H.I. Integrative Medical Massage School in Lebanon, OH. My classmates and I quickly learned the purpose of our future profession as our country was facing an emotional and stressful time. I graduated in May of 2003 and after passing the state licensure exam, I began my career at the Wright Touch Massage Associates that September.
The type of massage I do is Swedish/Deep tissue massage, but I do my best to individualize a massage for each person. In other words, I use pressure that the client is comfortable with and do my best to use as light a pressure or as deep a pressure as the client wants. The client’s comfort is very important to me. I am also certified to do prenatal massage for pregnant women as they tend to have sore and tired muscles. They are always so appreciative.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with people who come from many different backgrounds. I’ve worked with teachers, nurses, computer workers, students, military personnel, coaches, athletes, and artists to name a few. I’ve worked with people from all over the world: Scotland, Africa, India, Australia, China, Sweden, England, and Japan. I’ve worked with the softer tissue of an elderly person, and I’ve worked with the toned, hard muscles of a body builder. I’ve worked with people in perfect health who wanted to relax, and I’ve worked with HIV patients who wanted to be comforted. I’ve worked with excited, expecting mothers awaiting the birth of their children, and I’ve worked with a dying cancer patient who took her time to say goodbye.
…I can’t imagine doing anything else.
Client Testimonials:
"My husband and I have been loyal clients of Chad Osborne's for over three years. Chad is a talented massage therapist! I see him monthly for average (sometimes above average) aches and pains. I have also seen Chad for prenatal massage. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Chad before my first pregnancy, but his prenatal massage made my second pregnancy much more pain-free and now I am seeing him for my third pregnancy. I plan to continue seeing Chad for as long as both of us are in the area!
I have a lot of respect for Chad. I have recommended many of my friends to make appointments with him. I hope you will call and make your appointment today. You won't regret it!!"

"I would recommend Chad Osborne, without hesitation, to anyone looking for a massage therapist. I have been a client for almost two years and find him to be highly skilled, professional, and caring. He helped me greatly during my pregnancy with maternal massage which allowed me to avoid back pain and swelling. I experience chronic back pain from a car accident, but as long as I maintain regular appointments with Chad I feel great! He creates a relaxing atmosphere and is also flexible in scheduling appointments. Whether you’re trying massage as a way to relax or as a part of physical therapy, Chad will be a great choice."

"I have had back pain for about 20 years. At the referral of my chiropractor, I started to see Chad and have been a client of his for about six months. Within the first few visits, my back started to improve and I have been receiving continuous improvement since. Chad always seems to know where I hurt the most and will work to release the knots that cause my pain. With his gentle spirit and strong hands, he is helping to release me from the pain that I have suffered with for so long."
